Publisher's Description:

Satellite Antenna Alignment - The program "Satellite Antenna Alignment" is used to calculate the angles necessary for installing satellite dishes. The main difference from similar software is the possibility to calculate the position for all satellites at once. Thus, you get a clear picture about what satellites can be physically visible from the location where the dish will be installed. Additionally, the program has a mechanism for calculating the azimuth of the sun and you can do everything without a compass now! More info: http://www.al-soft.com/saa/satinfo.shtml

Version 2.50.0.0 from 2008-06-28

Although the help file is obtained by going back to the home page, it should be included with the program as without it the program is useless except a person is a geo-professor.
The help file needs small improvements and so the program. E.g., the red background is too dark and makes the black writing difficult to read although it is not important to be read. The same applies to the green background. Every background color should be pastel and not primary this is my opinion.
The report and transponders tags are superfluous items.
To align the dish to the Sun is a job of miss and hit because few offset degrees and you miss the satellite, and you need the television near the dish because you have to set the strength and quality of the signal.
Again, to set the elevation of the dish you need a level meter with a protractor, and if the Sun is behind clouds, you are stuck. In some places during the winter months, the sky is overcast for most of the time. Are you going to wait for springtime?
Conclusion: if a person is tranquil, has a protractor, level meter and lives in a sunny country, far away from a town and has no money, than he can play with the program otherwise is better to call an antenna technician and relax in an easy chair with a bottle of beer.

Whilst I'm trying to learn and understand about satellite dishes I think that you're doing good job as no one is a professor in everything and a little help for those like me is appreciated a lot especially of having moved my receiver already 3 times because of new construction near my house and another time with your help l try to set everything myself
Thanks
Paul
